30 DAY RECAP : NOVEMBER 2017

Total miles = 60.04 Total elevation = 3,386 feet Average pace = 10:40 Garmin Estimated V02 Max = 46 *For anyone who likes data, I put my daily stats below! Whew! WEEK 47: WEEKLY WORKOUTS

I was so hopeful about what a good week this was going to be in the beginning and it started off great – I had one of my fastest times on Sunday. I feel great here, in Arizona! This is probably partly contributed to all the rest I took last week (3 days!), the lower elevation, and flat roads. Towards the end of the week I ran a 9:17 and Garmin said it was an easy workout! This week lived up to my expectations. I have not been dreading my runs as much here either. On Wednesday, I tried to […]

WEEK 46 : Weekly Workouts

As you’ll see below, this was a rough week. I ran two miles almost everyday for the past two weeks and this week all those miles caught up with me. October was not my ‘get in shape month’ – in fact – quite the opposite. Any fitness I had previously accumulated no longer exists, hence my 30 day running challenge. Of course, my first day of the challenge I flew to NYC and didn’t get to my hotel or to run until 9pm. My second day I got up at 7am EST (4am Nevada time) and ran again. I don’t love workouts that are 12 hours apart, but I couldn’t fail the first two days!!
