DECEMBER CHALLENGE : WEEK 4 RECAP

As a review, the Rules for my December challenge are: No eating or drinking before 9am No eating or drinking after 7pm Black coffee is allowed before 9am Eat three meals per day NO snacking The goal is to have a 14 hour fast each night. And ideally, do a workout in the morning in a fasted state before eating. This has not been going as planned. Both the workout side and the eating side. We’ve had social commitments every night this week except the night after Christmas and that totally threw us off! UGH!

DECEMBER CHALLENGE : WEEK 2 RECAP

This past week, we have really perfected the routine of this challenge & I’m still loving it. I’ve been able to manage this challenge appropriately because there are 4 alarms set on my Garmin (I have the 735XT). I have one at 9am, to alert me I can eat breakfast. Then I have 3 alarms for dinner – 5pm, 6pm, 7pm. The 5pm alarm means, start thinking about dinner if I’m not already cooking something. 6pm alarm means we should be eating soon and then my 7pm alarm is the ‘cutoff’ time. December Challenge : Week 1 Recap

As a recap, the Rules for my December challenge are: No eating or drinking before 9am (except black coffee) No eating or drinking after 7pm Black coffee is allowed before 9am Eat three meals per day NO snacking The goal is to have a 14 hour fast each night. Starting this challenge on a weekend was more difficult than I thought. The weekends are definitely when I imbibe a bit more and on the first Saturday in December, we had our annual Friendsgiving. Thankfully we ate around 6pm and I skipped dessert.
