Classic Green Juice – the perfect green drink to add to your morning routine.
I have a love hate relationship with juicing. I love the taste and the fact it’s so easy to get fast nutrients into your body. I hate the waste that it creates! Juicing was really popular for a while and then it kind of dropped below the radar… well I’m putting it back onto yours with this Classic Green Juice! I don’t believe you should juice for every meal, everyday, but I do think it has a place.
Anyways, here is my Tuesday story. After I took these photos, I was carrying everything back to the kitchen and managed to drop both cups of juice, spilling it everywhere AND break one of the glasses into a million pieces on the floor.
I’ve been trying to find a cart that I can wheel around to seek out the best light in my house (instead of carrying back and forth!). I found one I liked but decided not to get it, so this is what I get for making that decision. Oh well – enjoy this Classic Green Juice! Happy Tuesday!
Classic Green Juice - This recipe is the perfect green juice! It's packed with nutritious veggies like red kale and spinach. Mint is also included for a refreshing drink!
- 1 bunch red kale
- 1 lemon [unpeeled]
- 1 small gala apple
- 1 handful spinach
- 1 small cucumber
- 5 mint sprigs
- 5 ribs of celery
Place all ingredients in a juicer. Pour into juice glasses, serve & enjoy!
If you don't have a juicer, add ~1/2 cup water, blend with a high powered blender and use a mesh cloth to strain. If using a juicer, considering composting waste or making a vegetable stock.
