‘Tis the season for bourbon drinks. I made this cocktail for our first holiday party three years ago and haven’t stopped since. It is easy, fancy, delicious, and doesn’t need a long intro.
4 oz [1/2 cup] Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey
8 oz [1 cup] apple cider, preferably organic & nonpasturized
Juice from 1/2 lemon
Dash of Cayenne Pepper
Instructions: pour bourbon, apple cider, and lemon juice into a glass or shaker with ice. Shake. If using a glass, stir briefly with a spoon. Top with Cayenne Pepper. Add lemon garnish (optional). Enjoy!
NOTE: If you’d like to make this drink sweeter, consider adding extra apple cider or maple syrup
