Week 5 : Weekly Workouts

Holy February! Where did January even go? I’ve been keeping it consistent with my workouts, which is great! This week was one gym session and the rest trainer workouts.

On Saturday we went to Napa which was really fun (how could it not be?)… and so I took a rest day. I also took a rest day on the Thursday before. Coming into this week my legs had a lot of fatigue, so these rest days really helped me to recuperate. I forgot how weights kill my legs!

In other news, we are going to New Orleans for Mardi Gras next weekend (SO EXCITED!). My plan for this week is to load up my legs with as much stress as much as possible since I don’t think any workouts will be completed in Nola. [NOTE: if anyone has suggestions for me to do in Nola, please let me know!]

I also have something else to admit… I watch The Bachelor. I know, I know, you don’t even need to say it. Anyways, I was really behind on this season and I usually watch TV on the trainer. So this week was heavier trainer sessions so I could catch up… whatever works, right?


Sunday – 30 minute TrainerRoad workout

Monday – 1.5 hour trainer workout

Tuesday – 40 minute gym session 3×15

  • Overhead press
  • Dumbbell bench press
  • Standing dumbbell flys
  • Dumbbell front raises
  • Bicep and Deltoid Squeezes
  • Standing Bicep with dumbells
  • Elevated Tricep dips
  • Adductor/Abductor Machines
  • Back squats
  • Braced squats
  • 20 bosu ball push-ups (round side down)
  • Various ab exercises

Wednesday – 1 hour trainer workout

Thursday – rest

Friday – 30 minute trainer workout

Saturday – rest
