Love or hate kombucha? It’s always a strong feeling either way. Am I right? Well, I don’t hate it (I think it’s tastes like healthy beer) but I also don’t love it (not my first drink of choice), so does that make me in the middle? Happy Christmas Eve! I can’t believe December (and Christmas) is almost over, it FLEW by. I’m sure you have about 5,000 things to do. If one of those things is find a unique drink to serve guests tomorrow…you’ve found it! This Basil Blackberry Bourbon Cocktail is incredible (if I do say so myself).
Umm, hello delectable! This drink is good, really good. Which also mean it’s potent… the first time I was recipe testing this drink, I finished one and thought my recipe was perfect. When I remade it I realized that the recipe needed a few tweaks. Haha! But, now I give you the final, perfect, product! At first I made this Sparkling Paloma with agave nectar. NOT GOOD. The agave nectar brings out the taste of the tequila, so I switched to maple syrup. The maple syrup adds a rich flavor to the drink.
Ah, it is full blown holiday time! Everyone on our street has lights up on the trim of their house and decorations covering the yard. It has snowed here a handful of times but there is not any on the ground… It’s time to put on a Christmas movie and snuggle up with some hot chocolate or this delicious cider cocktail with bourbon. This cider cocktail with bourbon is such a crowd pleaser it really doesn’t need more of any introduction – Cheers!
